Who is actually answering my guests?
Trained hotel people in Zeffu's own New Delhi office, speaking Hindi and English, answering on your hotel's own number and in your hotel's name, from 9 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. They learn your property, your rates and your policies before they take a single enquiry, and you can read every conversation live, any time. After 10 pm, WhatsApp enquiries get an instant acknowledgement and a reply first thing at 9 am.
What does Zeffu cost?
One monthly fee that retains your hotel's sales office, team and system together: Rs 35,000 + GST for up to 30 rooms, then Rs 5,000 per additional 10 rooms up to 60, with a one-time Rs 10,000 onboarding fee that covers importing your rates, connecting your OTAs, building your booking page and training the desk on your property. On top of that, 4% only on rooms our team personally books. Bookings that come through your website, WhatsApp or the OTAs on their own: 0% to Zeffu.
Why does it cost more than hotel software?
Because it is not software. Software is included, but what you are retaining is a staffed sales office: trained reservations professionals answering as your hotel from 9 am to 10 pm every day, with hiring, training, leave and attrition handled by us. Compare it to a Rs 30,000 to 50,000 reservations hire who works one shift, not to an app subscription.
How much OTA commission will I actually save?
OTAs charge roughly 15 to 30% of every booking. A direct booking through your own page costs only your payment gateway's charge, usually about 2%. How much you save depends on how many bookings shift direct; the free revenue audit puts a number on it for your property before you pay anything.
Is the booking engine extra? Does it take a cut?
No and no. Your booking page is included in the monthly plan and takes 0% commission, while many booking engines charge a fee on every direct booking. The only per-booking cost is your own payment gateway's charge, typically about 2%, paid to your gateway.
What happens to my number, WhatsApp and website if I leave?
They are yours, because they were always yours. Your sales number and WhatsApp stay registered to your hotel; we simply answer them for you. Leave any day and everything keeps working the moment you take it back, and we help you transfer the booking website domain too.
Which OTAs do you sync with?
Every OTA you sell on, plus your Google listing. Rates and inventory update across all of them from one place, so rooms never double-sell.
How long does setup take?
Most hotels are live within days, and it needs about two hours of your time in the first week. We import your current rates, connect your OTA channels, set up your booking page and train the team on your property. None of it is technical work for you.
Will this feel like handing my hotel to an OYO?
No, and the structure guarantees it. Guest money settles to your own bank account, never through us. Your brand stays on everything; Zeffu is invisible to guests. You set the rate floor and keep the final say on every offer. And you can leave any day and take your number, your WhatsApp and your website with you.
Is there a contract, or can I cancel monthly?
Month to month, no lock-in, no notice period games. If the team is not visibly paying for itself, you should cancel, and you can.
Do I need technical staff to run this?
No. Our team operates the system for you, and anything you want to check yourself works from your phone, the same way WhatsApp does.
Is Zeffu a PMS? Will it replace my current hotel software?
No. Zeffu is your sales side: the team and system that fill rooms. Your front desk, housekeeping and any software you already use for running the hotel stay exactly as they are.
What if my bookings do not improve?
Then you cancel, and you should. There is no lock-in and no notice period, and the numbers are in your dashboard every day, so you never have to take our word for progress. That is also why every engagement starts with the free audit: you see the opportunity in rupees before you pay anything.
I already use a booking engine or channel manager. What happens to it?
We replace it: both are included in the monthly fee, so that subscription goes away, and our booking page takes 0% where many engines charge per booking. Your existing rates, rooms and OTA connections are imported for you; nothing goes offline during the switch.
Do you work with resorts, homestays and guest houses?
Yes, if you sell rooms by the night and have roughly 15 to 60 keys, the model fits: leisure hotels, resorts, large homestays and boutique properties. Above 60 rooms or multiple properties, talk to us and we will quote it properly.
Do I get a proper GST invoice?
Yes. Zeffu Technologies Private Limited invoices the monthly fee and any commission with GST every month, so your books stay clean and the expense is fully accountable.
